Certificate IV in Training and Assessment

The TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment program is designed to reflect the roles of VET professionals who deliver training and assessment services.

Overview

The TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment has superseded the TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.

This qualification reflects the roles of individuals delivering training and assessment services in the vocational education and training (VET) sector.

This qualification (or the skill sets derived from units of competency within it) is also suitable preparation for those engaged in the delivery of training and assessment of competence in a workplace context, as a component of a structured VET program.

Achievement of this qualification by trainers is a requirement of the Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) 2015. Please note that holders of the TAE40110 qualification will need to upgrade to the TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment in order to satisfy the requirements for delivering and assessing nationally recognised training.

We are based in Perth but can take our TAE40116 course to wherever you are based in Australia.

The TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is a crucial qualification that impacts on the quality of delivery and assessment throughout the VET system. It is vital for the VET system that this qualification is delivered effectively by practitioners with vocational competency in training and assessment.
